​Christy Steed, NVRHA, NRCHA, and AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse (VRH) professional possesses an approachable straight forward way of helping clients and audiences to gain confidence in building their horse rider partnership. Christy grew up in Florida riding barrel horses. Eventually, she went to work under a top professional in both the cutting and the reining. Christy found her true training passion in the Reined Cowhorse. Christy’s eye for detail and ability to convey her message has helped her to have a successful Non-Pro (NP) program. Her hard work crystalized in a season of accomplishments including: AQHA Congress Reining Futurity Finals, Shot Horse of Texas LTD Open World Champion, and AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse (VRH) Open Ranch Cutting World Champion. These all while coaching the VRH Youth Cutting World Champion. Her approach to training emphasizes clear communication to build trust and confidence in every partnership. 

Riding her whole life has lead to her current professional status. Christy’s been successful in multiple disciplines. She particularly enjoys progressing beginner and intermediate Non Pros (NPs), while fine tuning and advancing them to be successful in and out of the show pen. She delivers clear, effective techniques that keep her a favorite clinician, trainer, and coach. She values her work with notables such as Brian Welman Training Center, Ray Shell Ranch, Dallas Cunningham Performance Horses, and others.
