Lavert Avent

Born and raised on the Sneed Ranch in the Texas Panhandle.  He has worked on ranches and in feedyards all his life.  In 1998 he became bored with taking care of cattle and began training horses, as a pastime until 2007 when he began training full time.  Lavert first began in Claremore, OK and then was Head Trainer at T- Cross Ranches before spending time in New Mexico and now enjoys a robust client base of training horses and people to achievements in AQHA VRH NVRHA and NRCHA events.  Lavert has qualified for the AQHA VRH World Show multiple times and has achieved 3rd in the world in 2013. He also was 4th in the NRCHA World show in 2013 in the world in the Limited Open Hackamore.  He enjoys the challenge of training horses and the rewards you get from training them from start to finish and seeing how they progress from day to day and seeing the finished product. Lavert also enjoys teaching and giving clinics and giving back to people the way people gave to him when he needed help.
