have loved horses all my life. I have been very lucky to have them as part of
my life for the past 30+ years. One of my biggest challenges is finding the
time for my passion! Being married with three kids, all of whom have no
interest in horses, is quite a challenge!!
I currently have 3 horses and 2 ponies. Tatanka is my main ride at the moment. He is ¼ welsh pony and QH. I have had him since he was 7 months, thinking my kids would like having a baby! Nope! Tatanka is now 12 and a true versatile horse! We have done a ton of trail riding/camping including the Black Hills and Medora. Have done several cattle drives in SD, Some Cutting, Drill Team performances, Parades, Extreme Cowboy Race in Kansas City, Extreme trail courses, and lots of clinics.
We were 2009 Champion Ranch Horse Gelding at the Outwest Arena ranch horse buckle series. That got me hooked on Versatility Ranch Horse! I joined NLVRHA in 2010 and have loved every minute of it!! They are a very special group of people! Everybody is willing to help you out and encourage you! I am looking forward to the 2014 season and making new friends!
