To be eligible to compete in the 2020 NRSHA National Championship Show, a rider must show in at least three events hosted by an alliance partner such as NVRHA, between March 1, 2019 and February 28, 2020. Riders can show with the same alliance partner three times, or any combination of alliance partners three times. CATTLE CLINIC WITH JEFF BARNES Ranch Cutting, Boxing, & Fence Work Friday, July 17th, 2020 Strait Rail Ranch This clinic will focus on the horsemanship skills necessary for the Ranch Cutting and Working Ranch Horse classes included in the National Versatility Ranch Horse Clinic / Schooling Competitions. Emphasis will be placed on improving your horsemanship skills by helping your horse become more soft and responsive as you learn the maneuvers that comprise the cattle classes. This clinic will start with some dry work exercises and using a mechanical cow. Then we will put those skills to use working live cattle. This clinic will be limited to 5 riders per session to ensure quality instruction. Members of Northern Lights will be on hand to answer questions as you meet new participants in a relaxed, casual setting. NLVRHA welcomes auditing to members in good standing. Bring your own lunch.
